Ready to go...
I'm Leuven it
It turns out that getting on the train to Louvain was the right thing to do. So I am here, ready for an exciting day of GABA symposiuming.
4th International Symposium on MRS of GABA
September will soon be upon us, and with it, the 4th (yes, 4th) biannual GABA MRS symposium. This year, we will be in Leuven Belgium, for two packed days of abstract talks and scientific discussions. At last count, we had over 70 people registered, so we are looking forward to some stimulating discussions. The symposium website is here.
An email with further information will be sent to all registrants in the coming week.
GABA Symposium
We are pleased to announce that the 4th International Symposium on MRS of GABA will be held on the 22nd and 23rd of September 2017 in Leuven, Belgium. The meeting will bring together scientists applying MRS of GABA to questions of clinical and basic neuroscience and those working on issues surrounding data acquisition and processing.
Meeting venue
After three successful symposia in Cardiff and Orlando, we will be holding the symposium at the KU Leuven in Belgium. This is a lovely venue, near some of the beautiful sights Leuven offers. For accommodation we have put a number of rooms on hold in the nearby Congresshotel Begijnhof which you will be able to book with a discount (for instructions, click here), but you are more than welcome to organize your own accommodation.
Meeting format
Abstracts will be submitted for short oral formats 10 or 15 minutes. Discussion Topics will be grouped and selected for round-table discussions (in sub-group format depending on numbers) to discuss issues or questions regarding MRS of GABA in any shape or form.
Symposium registration and payment
We will send out details regarding registration and abstract submission early 2017, but would like to provide you with a save the date and some information. The planned fees will include registration, lunch, and coffee/snacks.
If you have any further questions or comments, please email gabasymposium@gmail.com. Our website is currently under construction, and more information will be coming soon.
We're looking forward to seeing you in Leuven, Belgium!
Feel free to forward this note to any interested people.
